Saturday 14th November 2026: Women in Voice – A Northern Choral Gathering

Join us for Women in Voice, a special afternoon bringing together women from across the North of England and the Scottish Borders simply to sing.

There’s something so good for the soul about getting together with other women to make music. It’s a chance to leave everything else at the door for a few hours and enjoy being part of a room full of voices.

Led by Charlotte Jackson and Rachel Little with pianist Jacqueline Tinniswood, the afternoon will begin with warm ups and rounds before singing some really beautiful music together. All the music will be provided and will finish with an informal sing.

There will also be delicious refreshments provided by Penrith Methodist Church in aid of the 4F Children’s Holiday Club, all included in your ticket.

It’s not often that women from across this region have the opportunity to come together simply to sing, meet one another and share the joy of making music.

Friday 11th – Sunday 13th December: Christmas Programme with Sempre Amabile

This Christmas, Sempre Amabile presents a rich and thoughtfully woven programme of music celebrating both the season and the many facets of the human experience. Alongside beautiful sacred works by John Rutter and Benjamin Britten, audiences will enjoy timeless favourites from the American Songbook, bringing warmth, nostalgia and sparkle to the festive season.

The programme also features carefully curated sacred and secular music reflecting life from a woman’s perspective – music of joy, strength, tenderness, hope and reflection – performed with the signature warmth and musical sensitivity for which Sempre Amabile is known.
